As a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the Burke County Animal Services Center, volunteers are vital to the success of our mission. We are always looking for passionate, dedicated individuals to volunteer with us.

Here are just a few ways you might make a difference:

• Go to Burke County Animal Services to clean cages, fill water/food bowls, provide company to the animals, walk the dogs, play with the cats, do training and socialization, etc.

• Check a shelter animal out for a day of fun!

• Temporary fostering.

• Collecting items to donate to the shelter (food, poop bags, blankets, towels, etc.)

• Help work fundraising events, make calls, post fliers, and make social media posts.

• Donate your time and expertise as a graphic designer, photographer, newsletter writer, event planner, etc.

• Assist in fundraising efforts by raising money, asking for donations, and building corporate partnerships.

• Day-to-day operations such as accounting, bookkeeping, and legal matters.
